Waterloo Region based Rebellion Media has bought another company.

Crucial Interactive, a digital media company that works with brands to engage with online consumers, is the 12th company to be acquired by Rebellion in the past year.

“With Crucial Interactive we’re improving our monetization pillar,” Brenden Sherratt, marketing at Rebellion Media, said. “They have 18 million unique-ad impressions a month. We’ll be using that strength for our brands.”

Crucial Interactive joins a growing family at Rebellion Media. More than 25 million unique users each month visit Rebellion-owned websites including Sortable.com, Fighters.com, Snapsort.com, Twirlit.com, Manolith.com, SaffronRouge.com and Communitech HYPERDRIVE company Incentivibe.com.

More information on the acquisition can be found on Rebellion’s website.
